Privacy policy

JobSearch is a free job-search service made by Feynix AI. This page explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. In short: we use your data only to help you find and apply for jobs, we never sell it, and you can delete it at any time.

What we collect

• Your profile: the resume you upload and the details you enter (name, email, phone, city, links, work authorization, notice period, expected salary, preferences).
• Your applications: jobs you save or apply to, their status, and notes you add.
• Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture.
• Gmail (only if you connect it): read-only access to find job-related emails. We read the sender, subject, date and short preview of emails from hiring systems or about applications. We never read other email, never send, change or delete anything, and never store email bodies.
• Browser extension: the extension runs on supported job application sites, and on any other page only when you click it. It reads the application form so it can fill it in, and notes the job when you submit. It does not track your browsing.

How we use it

• To match you with jobs, fill in applications, tailor your resume and keep your application tracker up to date.
• When you ask for AI help (tailored resumes, answers, messages, interview prep), the relevant parts of your resume and the job are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the result. They are not used to train AI models.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your details with employers. Nothing is sent to an employer unless you submit it yourself.

Google user data

JobSearch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to update your own application tracker, is not used for advertising, and is not read by people except where you ask us to for support or the law requires it.

Your control

• Disconnect Gmail at any time from the Tracker page; this also revokes our access at Google.
• Edit or remove any profile detail on your Profile page.
• To delete your account and all your data, email us and we will do it within 30 days.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in our database and sent over encrypted connections. Sign-in tokens are kept on our servers and never exposed to the browser. We keep your data while your account exists and delete it when you ask.
