Use JobSearch from Claude

Connect JobSearch to Claude, or any assistant that speaks MCP, and run your job search in plain words: “find remote React jobs in India paying over 12 LPA”, “tailor my resume for the second one”, “mark Stripe as interviewing”. Everything is free, including API keys.

From Claude Code it's free for you: Claude does the AI work with your own Claude plan, so no JobSearch credits are used.

Get an API key

Searching works without a key. A key lets Claude see your resume match scores and manage your tracker. Sign in with Google first, so your keys and tracker stay with your account.

Claude Code

Run once in your terminal. Claude Code can then use every JobSearch tool.

Claude.ai

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste https://jobsearch.feynixai.com/api/mcp.

Job search works right away there. Tracker tools need your key, so use Claude Code or Claude Desktop for those for now.

Run your job search from Claude

  1. 1Find. “Find senior LLM inference jobs in Bengaluru or remote, best match first.” Claude shows each job's match score and why.
  2. 2Tailor. “Tailor my resume for the Nebius one.” Claude follows the get_ai_prompt instructions itself.
  3. 3Apply. Claude gives you the apply link and your saved details. You fill the form and press Submit; it never applies for you.
  4. 4Track. “I applied.” Later: “move it to interviewing”. Your board on the site updates too.
  5. 5Reach out. Claude finds the HR emails and LinkedIn searches, then drafts a short email and a referral note.

Track your applications from Gmail with Claude

Let Claude read your job emails (confirmations, assessments, interview invites, offers, rejections) and keep your JobSearch board up to date. Your email stays between you and Claude; JobSearch only receives the applications Claude adds or moves.

  1. 1Connect Gmail to Claude. On claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors and connect Gmail. Claude Code and Claude Desktop use the same connectors when you're signed in with your Claude account (in Claude Code, run /mcp to check that Gmail is listed).
  2. 2Connect JobSearch to Claude. Create an API key above and add JobSearch with the Claude Code command or Desktop config in this guide.
  3. 3Ask Claude to sync. Paste the prompt below. Run it again whenever you want an update, for example every few days.

For each one, use JobSearch:
- If it's a job I'm already tracking (list_applications), move it with update_application:

  Add a short note with the date and what the email said.
- If it's not on my board yet, add it with track_application (company, role, and the link if there is one).

Then show me a table of what you changed, and list anything you weren't sure about instead of guessing.
Claude only reads your email when you ask it to, and it never sends anything unless you say so.

HR emails & referrals

Email HR directly. It works.

A short, specific email to HR or the hiring manager stands out from hundreds of portal applications. get_contacts returns the hiring inboxes the company publishes on its own website and in the job post. Add a Gmail connector to Claude (Claude.ai or Claude Desktop: Settings → Connectors) and ask it to save the email as a draft. You review it and press Send.

LinkedIn referrals and recruiters

Referred candidates get interviewed far more often. Connect LinkedIn through your own browser with Claude in Chrome: Claude opens the LinkedIn searches from get_contacts, finds recruiters and alumni, and types your note. You press Send.

Avoid “LinkedIn MCP” tools that ask for your password or scrape in the background; LinkedIn restricts accounts that automate messaging.

Auth & limits

  • Send your key as Authorization: Bearer jsk_…. Keys are free; revoke them any time above.
  • 30 requests a minute and 500 a day without a key; 120 a minute and 2,000 a day with one.
  • Each search returns up to 20 pages (500 jobs). Narrow your filters to see more.
  • No bulk export. The API is for personal job searching. Scraping or exporting the whole index isn't allowed. Want the full dataset or an export? Email arun@feynixai.com. We offer great prices.
