About us: Airtm is a financial-infrastructure company building the future of the online-work economy. We are on a mission to empower the world's growing number of Digital Entrepreneurs in the Global South, giving them the financial freedom to thrive. The problem is clear: in emerging markets, accessing the dollar economy is difficult. Cross-border payments are slow, expensive, and often lose value to inflation. This limits the potential of millions of talented individuals. Airtm’s solution is a swift and comprehensive financial platform that facilitates low-value cross-border payments and local cash-outs. As pioneers in stablecoin-payment infrastructure, Airtm has built the most advanced cross-border payment system available on the market. As a company married to the world of online work, Airtm will go beyond payments to build the necessary infrastructure the online-work economy needs to thrive. We are fostering an entirely new economy, giving individuals, communities, and countries the tools to take control of their financial destinies. This is a hands-on role combining technical implementation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help take automation initiatives from initial idea and requirements through implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing improvement. You will also help ensure that AI-powered workflows are implemented responsibly, with appropriate human oversight, controls, documentation, and monitoring—particularly when working with sensitive, financial, or customer-related processes. What We're Looking For • Experience building or implementing AI-powered automations, AI agents, or agentic workflows. • Experience with automation platforms, APIs, integrations, or workflow orchestration tools. • Experience with Claude, OpenClaw, or similar AI and agent development tools. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business processes into practical technical solutions. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Understanding of responsible AI practices, including human oversight, access controls, monitoring, and documentation. • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects and priorities across different teams. • Professional fluency in English. Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment is valued, but we also welcome candidates with relevant AI and automation experience from other industries. Nice to Have • Familiarity with AML, KYC, fraud prevention, compliance, or other financial-services processes. • Experience working with SQL, data tools, APIs, or Google Workspace. • Experience implementing AI or automation solutions in regulated or control-focused environments. • Familiarity with AI governance, auditability, monitoring, or model and automation controls.
