Across Both Areas • Advocate for the user perspective in cross-functional discussions and decision-making. • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and UX teams throughout discovery, design, development, and validation. • Apply and contribute to Agilent's design system to create consistent, scalable experiences. • Leverage modern AI-powered design and prototyping tools to accelerate innovation and communication. • Help shape the future of connected, intelligent laboratory software that empowers scientists worldwide. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related field. • 3+ years of UX design experience in life sciences, laboratory software, medical technology, enterprise software, or other complex technical environments. • Experience conducting qualitative UX research and translating findings into actionable product insights. • Strong skills in workflow design, interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, and UI design. • Proficiency with Figma and modern design tools. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting products from discovery through launch. • Experience with laboratory automation, instrument-connected software, workflow orchestration, or data-rich applications. • Familiarity with software design systems and agile product development. • Passion for designing solutions that connect people, software, instruments, and laboratory processes.
