Job Title: Specialty Account Executive –Intelligence Center X - Aerospace &  Defense    Intelligence Center X is Siemens' platform for the agentic enterprise    The next wave of enterprise software isn't about writing more code — it's about giving organizations the tools to combine trusted data, AI, and applications into systems that can reason and act on their own. Intelligence Center X delivers that today, through five capabilities — an Enterprise Knowledge Graph, AI/ML, agentic application development, orchestration, and governance — that together move enterprises from static software to intelligent, autonomous systems.    For the customers we serve, that shift shows up in very concrete ways: engineers and data leaders who can finally find and trust the data buried across decades of enterprise systems; teams that go from idea to working application in days instead of quarters; and AI initiatives that move out of pilot purgatory and into production because the underlying data and governance can actually support them. Whether you're building this platform, proving its value to customers, or bringing it to market through our partner ecosystem, your work directly drives those outcomes for some of the most complex organizations in the world.    This is one of the most ambitious enterprise AI platforms in the market — built on decades of deep domain expertise across industries as varied as manufacturing, banking, insurance, financial services, and healthcare, and already running in production at real scale for organizations with some of the most demanding data and compliance requirements in the world. If you want to work at the intersection of enterprise AI, knowledge graphs, and agentic applications — with real customers and real production stakes, across nearly every major industry — this is where that work is happening.    Role Overview Industry Focus: Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Territory: Selected U.S.-based Aerospace & Defense enterprise accounts Organization: Siemens Digital Industries Software Location: Remote (U.S.) Role Type: Individual Contributor, Enterprise Sales Travel: Approximately 25% minimum travel required, with additional travel as business needs dictate   Help A&D customers move from the digital enterprise to the agentic enterprise  The next era of enterprise AI will not be won by adding another disconnected model, dashboard or pilot. It will be won by connecting trusted enterprise context to intelligence and then turning that intelligence into governed action across the systems and workflows that run the business.  About Siemens Intelligence Center X  Siemens Intelligence Center X, or ICX, is an enterprise platform for building and scaling industrial AI solutions. It brings together Graph Studio, AI Studio and Agent Builder, App Studio powered by Mendix, process orchestration and governance so customers can move from Context to Intelligence to Action in one governed environment.  ICX complements the systems customers already rely on, including PLM, ERP, MES, CRM and data platforms. It connects information across those systems, gives AI the context needed to reason, and enables people and agents to take measurable action through applications and orchestrated workflows.  The opportunity  We are looking for an accomplished enterprise seller to build and grow a territory of Aerospace and Defense accounts. You will own a net-new ACV and services, pursuing consequential, multi-year platform opportunities that begin with a high-value business problem and expand across functions, use cases and geographies.  This is a role for a seller who creates demand, earns access to senior executives and leads from first insight through signature. You will combine the pace and ownership of a growth business with Siemens' industry credibility, customer relationships, technology portfolio and global reach.  Your industry mandate  Aerospace and defense organizations must improve mission readiness, program execution and supplier resilience while protecting sensitive data, navigating stringent compliance requirements and connecting decades of engineering and operational information. Your mission is to help these organizations adopt and implement ICX to create trusted context across systems, apply governed AI and move from insight to action without losing human oversight.  What you will own  Create the market. Build a focused territory and account strategy, identify high-consequence business problems and generate qualified pipeline through insight-led prospecting, Siemens relationships, partners and executive networks.  Lead the value conversation. Engage CIOs, CDOs, COOs and line-of-business executives around measurable business outcomes, not features. Translate operational pain into an executive value case with clear metrics, urgency and sponsorship.  Run the full pursuit. Own the opportunity from qualification through discovery, tailored experience, commercial strategy, security and procurement, paper process and signature. Maintain momentum, create the next action and escalate blockers early.  Orchestrate the winning team. Lead a matrixed pursuit team that may include Siemens Account Orchestrators, Solution Architects, Value Engineering, Technical Account Managers, Expert Services, product leaders and industry specialists.  Make the customer experience count. Multi-thread the account, develop a credible champion and secure access to the economic buyer. Create shared clarity on decision criteria, decision process, paper process and the cost of inaction.  Win with an ecosystem. Leverage Siemens, hyperscalers and global systems integrator relationships where they create access, credibility, delivery confidence or scale.  Operate with discipline. Apply rigorous opportunity qualification, maintain an accurate forecast and create a healthy pipeline that supports sustained target attainment.  What success looks like  A prioritized territory plan built around the accounts, executive relationships and use cases most likely to produce material ICX opportunities.  A qualified pipeline with measurable customer pain, executive sponsorship, a compelling event and a defined path to decision.  Strategic ICX lands with a credible roadmap to expand across additional use cases, business units and platform capabilities.  Customer-backed value cases that connect ICX investment to financial, operational or risk outcomes.  Reliable forecast performance and consistent progression across complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits.  Strong operating relationships across Siemens and the partner ecosystem, with clear ownership and accountability throughout the customer journey.  What you bring  Required experience and capabilities  A sustained record of meeting or exceeding enterprise software sales targets in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.  Experience creating and closing strategic platform opportunities, including multi-year agreements with executive visibility and seven-figure potential.  Executive presence and business acumen: you can earn credibility with C-suite and operating leaders, diagnose a business problem and build a financially grounded case for change.  Fluency in at least two of the following: enterprise AI and machine learning, knowledge graphs or data platforms, application development, process automation, cloud platforms or industrial software.  Command of a rigorous enterprise sales methodology and the judgment to qualify out, advance decisively and forecast accurately.  The ability to lead a diverse pursuit team without relying on formal authority, while maintaining pace and accountability across handoffs.  A willingness to learn the customer's industry, Siemens' portfolio and the evolving AI competitive landscape at depth.  Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.  Preferred experience  Experience selling enterprise AI, data, automation, low-code or industry software platforms into Aerospace & Defense.  Experience selling into Aerospace & Defense accounts, particularly the Defense Industrial Base and/or Department of War  Familiarity with knowledge graphs, agentic workflows, model governance, digital twins or cross-system orchestration.  Experience co-selling with global account teams, hyperscalers or systems integrators.  A track record competing against established platform providers and reframing customer decisions around differentiated business value.  Why join the ICX team  Build a category-defining business. Help shape how the world's most consequential enterprises operationalize AI with context, governance and action.  Sell where Siemens already matters. Enter strategic accounts with the credibility, relationships and industrial domain depth of one of the world's most trusted technology companies.  Own meaningful outcomes. Pursue enterprise platform opportunities tied to operational performance, resilience, quality, speed and growth.  Work with a serious technical bench. Partner with Solution Architects, AI and data specialists, value engineers, industry experts and services leaders who can turn a strong discovery into a differentiated customer experience.  Grow with the market. Develop at the intersection of industrial software, enterprise AI, agentic systems, applications and process orchestration.  How we work  We expect ownership, curiosity, direct communication and a bias for action. The strongest people on this team create the next step, challenge assumptions with evidence, escalate barriers early and stay accountable across every handoff. They are comfortable with the uncomfortable because consequential outcomes rarely come from passive selling.  Closing Salary Transparency Statement The base salary range for this position is $146,700- $293-400 USD annually, this is a 50/50 split.  The salary offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.
