The mission At Learned, we're building a fair, high-performing working world. Our software helps managers grow their teams continuously, evaluate them fairly and reward them transparently. The platform automates the whole performance and evaluation process. That saves managers valuable time and helps them have conversations with their people that make a real impact. The opportunity Our go-to-market engine in the Netherlands is proven and ready to scale internationally. We recently closed a new funding round specifically to speed up our expansion into Germany. As our first Account Executive in Germany, you'll win new customers in the German market. You'll run product demos and translate each prospect's challenges into the right solution on the Learned platform. You'll own the full sales cycle, from needs analysis and proposal through contract negotiation to close. Then you'll hand each new customer over to Customer Success with a clear implementation plan. Not everything is set in stone yet, and that's exactly where you can bring in your own ideas and shape our German go-to-market strategy. The team We're a team of around 55 colleagues from more than seven nationalities, based in Utrecht. You'll work closely with our CCO and CEO, our German Partnership Manager and our German BDR. You'll spend your first two months of onboarding at our headquarters in Utrecht. After that, you'll be in the office about once a month and visit customers across Germany regularly. Whenever you're in Utrecht, you'll join our daily team lunch (healthy and fully taken care of), and we have a team activity every month. Your development This role goes well beyond a classic Account Executive position. Over time, you'll build your own German team of BDRs and (senior) Account Executives, with a clear path to Country Manager Germany. You'll have a lot of ownership, entrepreneurial freedom and direct influence on how we grow in Germany. An experienced, successful team in the Netherlands will back you up. The musts • German as your native language and fluent English • Several years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least three years as an Account Executive or in a similar role • Experience with consultative selling and complex deals involving multiple stakeholders (e.g. management, works council, IT and legal) • Comfortable building your own pipeline • An independent, entrepreneurial way of working, and you enjoy taking responsibility in a scale-up • Able to work with customers at a strategic level and build long-term relationships • Willing to travel within Germany and to visit our office in the Netherlands regularly The nice-to-haves • A background as a BDR and as a full-cycle AE • Experience with HubSpot as a CRM The benefits • Base salary of €75,000 to €90,000 • Uncapped commission (realistic on-target variable: €48,000) • Stock options, so you build equity • A company car • A clear growth path to Country Manager Germany • 25 vacation days (full-time) • A MacBook and all the equipment you need to succeed • A personal development budget of €1,000 per year • An international work environment with colleagues from more than seven cultures Sounds like the right challenge?
