GROWTH About the role Pure is looking for one of our first dedicated growth hires to own how we acquire users. You’ll decide where our dollars go across paid social, creators, influencers, and community, and run fast, disciplined tests to find what actually moves, installs and retains users. Creative is the core of that work: you’ll build an in-house, ideally automated ad engine that produces hundreds of variants for Meta and TikTok, giving the team a fast read on what works. You’ll be our first dedicated growth hire, working with the founders. This is a builder role: you’ll run the experiments yourself and own the results. Location: In-person only (New York office) Type: Full-time Reports to: GTM What you’ll do - Own the acquisition testing roadmap across paid social, UGC and creator content, influencer partnerships, outbound, and community. Decide what to test, what to scale, and what to cut. - Treat creative as the primary growth lever. Produce and edit hundreds of ad variants for Meta and TikTok, using AI video generation and traditional editing together. - Build the creative engine behind a multi million dollar monthly marketing budget, AI generation, and batch editing and export workflows, so one concept becomes dozens of variants without adding headcount. - Run tight feedback loops. Launch, read the data, kill losers, and turn the next batch around in hours, not days. - Mine the Meta Ad Library and study how category leaders run their creative. Adapt the formats that work, including celebrity-style and UGC-style ads. - Work with the UGC and content lead and the GTM lead (influencers, outbound, partnerships) so paid and creator channels reinforce each other. Use ad learnings to brief creators, and use creator wins as ad material. - Build the measurement picture, tracking cost per install, cost per retained user, and creative-level performance so spend decisions rest on data. - Stay deep in the app so every ad and experiment reflects how people actually use and talk about it. What we’re looking for - A track record of getting users or customers through paid social, short-form video, or creator-led channels, whether at a company or on your own. - A portfolio of ads or social videos you made yourself, showing range, speed, and, ideally, results. - A test-and-learn mindset. You’re comfortable forming a hypothesis, running a small test, and making a call with imperfect data. - Strong editing skills in tools such as CapCut, Premiere, After Effects, or similar. - Hands-on experience with AI video generation tools. - High social media fluency. You know what looks native on Meta and TikTok. - Obsessed with the app and its users. - Scrappy and fast, comfortable shipping a lot of work in a fast-paced environment. - Able to work in person at our NYC office. Nice to have - Experience bootstrapping a business or running your own paid social. - Experience writing scripts or working with UGC creators. - Community or social account management experience. Perks & benefits - Medical, dental and vision insurance, with 100% of premiums covered by Pure, starting on your first day. - Free Equinox membership. - Dinner provided in the office every night. - Up to $75/day for other meals when in the office. - Weekly dry cleaning and laundry service. Pure is an equal opportunity employer.
