➡️ About the role Successful businesses think globally – but complex compliance challenges create significant barriers to global operations, forcing teams to spend vast amounts of time, money, and energy on administration instead of strategic priorities. Traditional compliance approaches are too slow, vague, and expensive for modern business dynamics. That's why we've built the platform that automates compliance and duty of care for business travel, workations, and international assignments. Our vision: A world where global business knows no borders – where compliance is effortless, so growth has no limits. Your role in this mission:We're seeking an ambitious, early-career generalist to act as an Associate to our SOS Business Lead. You'll report directly to the SOS Business Lead. 🎯 What you will do • Take ownership of high-priority projects the SOS Business Lead assigns to you, spanning commercial, partner, and operational topics - and drive them from problem to delivered outcome. • Support commercial efforts: help build enablement processes and drive Go-To-Market objectives with the Business Lead. • Help managing event based marketing campaigns, external relationships & partners. Support the Business Lead on building internal processes. • Act as a proxy for the SOS Business Lead in meetings, synthesizing information and preparing materials for internal and customer-facing discussions. • Build proficiency in Duty of Care and Travel Risk Management - including frameworks like ISO 31030 - so you can represent the topic credibly as the SOS Associate. • Wearing many hats: Solving internal bottlenecks, championing the SOS product in other departments (and vice versa). ⭐ What you need to succeed • 1-3 years of relevant experience (e.g. consulting, startups, or a generalist/founder's associate-type role), or an outstanding academic record with strong internship experience at minimum. • Excellent cross-collaboration and communication skills in English and German, written and spoken. • A structured, analytical approach to solving ambiguous problems. Comfortable working with latest AI & quantitative data. • Strong sense of ownership, proactive and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. • Passionate for networking and a fundamental understanding of how SaaS sales, marketing and partnerships works. • Genuine interest or preliminary experience in the following topics: Duty of Care / Travel Risk Management, Travel Insurance and Emergency Management (SOS). 🚀 Why join us at WorkFlex • Contribute to building the future of the fastest-growing HR tech startup in Germany backed by prominent customers such as Scout24, BioNTech, and others, as well as funding from top-tier VC and angel investors. • Competitive salary and VSOPs (Virtual Stock Options) to share in our success. • A monthly budget of €200 to spend on 🏢 co-working space and/or 🏃‍♀️ sports subscriptions. • Work from anywhere in a remote-only company and go on workations for up to 183 days a year. • Merit-based culture with substantial growth opportunities. • Trust-based work – organize your own schedule.
