And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce. Engineering at Qualified  Engineering at Qualified is a high-ownership, high-velocity environment where engineers ship customer-facing product to real enterprises at scale. We're building at the frontier of AI + product: developing agentic software and  embedding AI directly into our platform, using modern toolchains and processes that help engineers move faster while staying focused on high-impact problem solving.  Following our acquisition by Salesforce, we continue to operate with the pace and ownership of a startup, backed by the distribution, resources, and long-term runway of a global enterprise. Engineers have true end-to-end ownership from idea to production: scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement based on real customer feedback.  You'll work alongside a high-talent-density team that cares deeply about craft, performance, reliability, and user experience, and that raises the bar through collaboration, code review, and strong engineering principles. You'll make architecture decisions, solve meaningful system design challenges, and see your work land quickly with customers, without layers of approvals slowing you down.  The Role  The Brain team owns the intelligence layer behind Piper, our flagship AI SDR product for qualifying leads and booking meetings. Our team is responsible for building, maintaining, and upgrading the agents that power Piper to support new capabilities and model releases. We own the system prompts, model configuration, context layer, evals, and harness that powers Piper behind the scenes. What You'll Do  You will work closely with product teams to build the products and features that allow our customers to bring their customer GTM strategy, CRM data, and guardrails together to deliver an on-brand, personalized, muilti-modal AI SDR agent experience to their website and email. You will work closely with the AI platform teams to build and maintain LLM evals that measure Piperʼs overall health, response quality, and ensure that those changes contribute to business outcomes like converting leads, booking meetings, and driving pipeline. Who You Are  Minimum of 5 years of experience working in product engineering or related fields. Customer-centric thinking: have a deep connection of our customers' needs and how that translates to the experiences that we build for them. Much of your work will be tuning the agent to cater towards that, so you must be comfortable working backwards from a customer's preference and finding ways to capture human judgment as success criteria for an agent. Product engineering and ownership. Strong full-stack fundamentals and proficiency in frontend and backend development. Ability to work independently and engage with product and domain experts, spot gaps, and own the ideas through to production. Experience shipping real-time and text- based LLM products is nice to have. Weʼre language-agnostic; familiarity with Rails and React is a bonus.Brain Team Job Rec1 Agent fundamentals. You understand the core building blocks of agents: traces, context and tokens, tools, system prompts, models, latency and reasoning tradeoffs, MCP, etc. You know how to troubleshoot a LLM response and identify the source of the issue in the trace. You have an opinion on the strengths and weaknesses of different frontier models. You know what agents are and are not good for. Hands-on work with an LLM observability system, building or contributing to an eval system is a plus. Nice to Have Agentic development. Comfortable building alongside agents and utilizing coding agents effectively in your daily development. You can recognize poor quality code and writing produced by agents and know how to steer them towards a high-quality outcome on large tasks. You know how to use them to automate easy/repetitive tasks and build your domain expertise. Experience building software for marketing, sales, or go-to-market teams, particularly integrations with Salesforce and other CRM platforms. You understand how customer data, lead qualification, routing, and sales workflows fit together, and can translate that understanding into reliable product experiences. Startup experience and rapid shipping.  Why Join Qualified  Foundational impact: Shape how our AI agents retrieve, reason, and answer, and the tooling every engineer here uses to build them.  Lead real initiatives: Own significant projects end to end, with scope and  influence that grow as you deliver. You'll own the platform as it scales, from retrieval to model providers to agent orchestration, and set the performance and reliability bar that grows with the company.  AI as a core product surface: Turn new AI capabilities into dependable  experiences that customers trust, with strong engineering around evaluation, observability, and iteration.  High bar, low bureaucracy: Work with a team that values craft and decisive execution, where strong ideas win and shipping is the default.  Room to grow: Take on larger technical and product scope over time: leading projects, influencing architecture, and leveling up quickly.  If you're excited to build retrieval systems and agent infrastructure at the intersection of AI and enterprise software, we'd love to hear from you.
