At WelbeHealth, each participant of our program is guided by our interdisciplinary team (IDT) – composed of clinical and non-clinical members who work cohesively to provide quality patient-centered care. Our values and participant focus lead the way no matter what. The WelbeHealth Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is an integral part of the IDT, collaborating with other members of the Rehabilitation team to implement care plans and provide direct care to participants. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides restorative and rehabilitative physical therapy services to participants at the center and in their homes to maximize independence, safety, and to develop or restore function. This role is different because PTAs at WelbeHealth:  • Have lower patient volumes – no more seeing 3-4 patients a\n hour • Form long-term relationships with participants rather than short-term rehab stints • Collaborate with other therapists, providers, and disciplines • Have work/life balance - no after hours of documentation We care about our team members. That’s why we offer:  • Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days • 401K savings + match • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus • Unlimited CEUs through MedBridge • And additional benefits! On the day-to-day, you will:  • Administer participant treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist • Assist the Physical Therapist in obtaining vital signs, ranges of motion, and strength testing • Coordinate with other members of the Rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs based on the participants’ individual treatment plans • Handle scheduling of participants’ treatments, clinical visits, and billing • Document physical therapy interventions in accordance with established care plans including but not limited to active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional training of ADLs, and treatments (e.g., massage, heat, sound, water, light, or electricity) Job requirements include:  • PTA associate’s degree from an accredited program • Valid PTA license, or proof of license eligibility • PTA knowledge necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs We are seeking PTAs that ideally have outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience. If you’re ready to join a holistic care team that values both its participants and providers, we’d love to hear from you!  Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
