Kazakh - AI Training - Fluent Speaker   About Prolific Prolific is not just another player in the AI space – we are building the biggest pool of quality human data in the world. Over 35,000 AI developers, researchers, and organizations use Prolific to gather data from paid study participants with a wide variety of experiences, knowledge, and skills. The Opportunity We are seeking fluent Kazakh speakers to act as evaluators. AI models are now learning to communicate with human-like nuance, and we need fluent speakers to ensure these models understand the depth and nuance of the Kazakh language. You will be completing side-by-side evaluations of AI-generated text, assessing how naturally and authentically the AI captures written Kazakh. This includes reading text samples and identifying how natural and idiomatic the writing sounds. This is a fast-paced project where your eye for detail directly influences how AI understands human language. Researchers looking for your skills tend to pay between $20-26/hr. You must be prepared to complete paid tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter. Tasks • Side-by-side evaluation: comparing text snippets to assess quality and authenticity • Naturalness assessment: reading AI-generated text and rating how natural the writing sounds • Quality control: identifying where the AI's tone or phrasing feels unnatural or culturally mismatched • Contextual review: identifying whether word choice and register match the cultural context of the writing • Data tagging: providing feedback on the naturalness, tone, and authenticity of the text Tasks are posted individually - you'll see task details, time estimate and pay before deciding whether to take one on. What You’ll Bring • Kazakh language fluency: you must be a fluent Kazakh speaker with a strong command of natural, everyday written and spoken Kazakh • Linguistic nuance: an ability to distinguish subtle differences in tone, register, and word choice • Communication: fluent English skills for instruction following and reporting • Soft skills: high attention to detail; backgrounds in linguistics or translation are a plus • Technical setup: access to a computer and a quiet environment for focused reading and writing tasks • A PayPal account to receive payment from our clients Why Prolific is a great platform to join as a Participant Joining our platform as a Prolific participant will give you the chance to influence the AI models of the future using your language expertise.
