WE ARE AN APPLIED AI LAB BUILDING END-TO-END SOFTWARE AGENTS. We're the makers of Devin, the first AI software engineer. Our team is extremely talent-dense. Among our founding team, we have world-class competitive programmers, former founders, and leaders from companies at the cutting edge of AI including Scale AI, Palantir, Cursor, Waymo, Tesla, Lunchclub, Modal, Google DeepMind, and Nuro. Building Devin is just the first step—our hardest challenges still lie ahead. If you’re excited to solve some of the world’s biggest problems and build AI that can reason on real-world tasks, apply to join us. PARTNER DIRECTOR We're looking for a Partner Director to build Cognition's partner ecosystem across EMEA. You'll be recruiting, enabling, and activating the region's best global and regional systems integrators so that Devin reaches Europe's largest enterprises through the firms they already trust to deliver. ABOUT US Cognition is the team behind Devin, the world's first AI software engineer. Today, the two primary forms of AI coding tools are IDEs and agents. Engineers naturally want both: the IDE for when you want to make each decision yourself, with AI-assisted speedups, and agents to delegate complete tasks asynchronously. Our product suite is uniquely capable of tackling the pair. HIGHLIGHTS: - Cognition $48B fundraise and continued growth https://cognition.com/blog/series-e - Goldman Sachs Devin Case Study https://www.ibm.com/think/news/goldman-sachs-first-ai-employee-devin - Scott Wu The Wu Tapes Colossus Deep Dive https://colossus.com/article/scott-wu-tapes-cognition/ - Russell Kaplan and Scott Wu on American Optimist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pZ3vD0r8a0&t=12s ABOUT THE ROLE EMEA is a partner-led market. Enterprises in the UK, DACH, the Nordics, Benelux, France, Southern Europe, and the Middle East rely on trusted local firms to design rollouts, retrain teams, and own delivery. This is a build-from-the-ground-up, in-market role. You’ll help set the regional partner strategy, stand it up, run it, and turn it into a material, partner-initiated revenue engine. This is not an alliance-management or program-administration job. It's a hunter/farmer role with revenue accountability: you'll source and sign partners, enable them to build a Devin practice, co-sell into their client base alongside our AEs, and be measured on the partner-sourced pipeline that converts. WHAT YOU'LL DO - As a Partner Director, you will be responsible for building Cognition’s partner ecosystem from the ground up — sourcing, recruiting, enabling, and activating partners that drive meaningful revenue for Cognition’s platform. - You will create partnerships from a standing start and turn them into partner-initiated business. This is not a maintenance role. - You will define the strategy, build the program, support deals, and help close new business alongside our partners. - You’ll work closely with engineering, product, sales, and marketing to build a high-leverage partner engine that accelerates Cognition’s growth and expands Devin’s reach into the world’s most ambitious technology organizations. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - Successful candidates will have 8+ years of experience in partnerships, channel, business development, sales, or strategic alliances, a strong understanding of the partner landscape, and the drive and grit required to build a revenue channel from zero in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. - Deep fluency in how SIs and consultancies actually work — their economics and margin structure, utilisation and bench incentives, and practice-building decisions - Willingness to travel regularly across EMEA.
