About Us At Remote Talent LATAM, we connect top Latin American talent with leading U.S. marketing agencies. We guide businesses and candidates through every step of the hiring process, ensuring the perfect match in skills, culture, and goals. While we’re not direct employers, we act as a trusted partner, bridging the gap between exceptional talent and growing opportunities. About the Role We are seeking an experienced, authoritative Head Account Manager / SEO Client Success Manager to lead client retention, strategy, and team development across key accounts. In this role, you will act as a high level strategic player-coach, spending roughly 60% of your time leading high-impact accounts and 40% of your time mentoring internal account managers and collaborating on departmental operations. This is a senior level seat designed for someone who combines genuine, hands-on SEO depth with polished client-facing presence. You are backed by a dedicated execution and implementation team that handles technical builds, on-page edits, and content writing. Rather than doing manual grunt work, you will evaluate campaigns, troubleshoot complex technical blockers, guide strategic direction, and command client strategy meetings with confidence. Key Responsibilities • Manage client relationships, respond promptly to questions, explain SEO strategy, and confidently handle challenging conversations. • Develop and adjust SEO strategies independently based on client needs, ranking trends, and performance issues. • Conduct technical SEO audits and troubleshoot crawling, indexing, site architecture, redirects, schema, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals. • Oversee on-page and off-page SEO, delegating implementation and content tasks to specialized teams while handling quick fixes when needed. • Manage approximately 5–8 client relationships, including complex accounts and a white-label partnership. • Mentor and support junior account managers, help onboard new team members, and contribute to team training and meetings. • Follow established SOPs, monitor performance, protect client retention, and identify opportunities for improvement. Requirements • 5+ years of professional SEO experience, preferably within an established digital marketing or SEO agency. • 3+ years of client-facing account management, client success, or team leadership experience in a high-touch agency setting. • Strong knowledge of crawling, indexing, structured data, canonicalization, site speed, internal linking, and local ranking mechanics (Google Business Profile, citations, local map pack). • Ability to independently audit websites, diagnose algorithmic or technical ranking issues, and interpret data from Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush. • Exceptional written and verbal English skills with the ability to explain complex technical findings in clear, business-focused terms to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, and Google Maps rankings. • Experience managing white-label SEO partnerships or supporting agency clients. • Experience mentoring account managers or helping scale an account management department. • Familiarity with WordPress, website migrations, HTML, CSS, and basic server-side SEO considerations. • Experience with AI search optimization, SEO automation, and emerging search technologies Benefits • Base salary: $3,000 + (Negotiable) per month, depending on experience and fit. • Performance bonuses • Payment schedule: Twice monthly in USD through Wise. • Paid time off: One week of PTO after the first year, increasing with tenure + US Holidays • Work arrangement: Fully remote, with candidates based in Latin America. • Schedule: Full-time availability with substantial overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours. Eligibility Criteria • This position is open to candidates residing in Latin American (LATAM) countries, such as: 🇦🇷 🇧🇷 🇨🇱 🇨🇴 🇨🇷 🇩🇴 🇪🇨 🇸🇻 🇬🇹 🇭🇳 🇲🇽 🇳🇮 🇵🇦 🇵🇾 🇵🇪 🇺🇾 🇻🇪 • ❌ Applications from candidates residing outside LATAM will not be considered. • 📄 Resumes must be submitted in English. • 🚫 Applications that do not meet these criteria will be automatically rejected.
