About High Scale We’re High Scale — a future-focused, data-obsessed agency revolutionizing video advertising on TV and social media. Think Amazon’s obsession with customer experience meets SpaceX’s fearless ambition—that’s the DNA behind everything we do. Our 160-person team of creatives, strategists, and innovators produces thousands of high-impact campaigns weekly for the world’s leading lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and DTC brands. With 50,000 sq. ft. of DTLA studios and a global influencer network, we’re scaling rapidly—and we believe the best companies are built by people who don't wait to be told what to do. We move fast, embrace change, and constantly look for better ways to operate. If you're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving systems, taking ownership, and leaving every process better than you found it, you'll feel right at home here. Why This Role Matters Growth creates opportunity—but it also creates complexity. As our Business Operations Manager, you'll help build the operational foundation that allows High Scale to scale without sacrificing speed, quality, or culture. You'll work closely with leadership to optimize how we hire, measure performance, improve workflows, and support our people. We're especially excited to meet someone who has experienced world-class operational discipline in a BPO or high-growth organization and knows how to translate those best practices into a fast-moving, entrepreneurial company. This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain existing processes. You'll challenge them, improve them, and build new ones. From implementing KPI frameworks and refining HR operations to identifying inefficiencies across departments, your work will directly shape how High Scale operates as we continue to grow. If you enjoy turning complexity into clarity, creating order from chaos, and helping teams perform at their best, this is the opportunity to make a lasting impact. What You'll Do Design Better Business Systems Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across departments. Develop scalable SOPs, documentation, and operational playbooks that promote consistency while supporting rapid growth. Implement practical solutions that simplify work without sacrificing quality. Build High-Performance KPI Frameworks Partner with department leaders to define meaningful KPIs and performance metrics. Create dashboards and reporting systems that give leadership clear visibility into organizational performance. Ensure accountability through structured scorecards and measurable outcomes. Continuously evaluate metrics and recommend improvements based on business needs. Strengthen HR & People Operations Review and improve employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance management, promotions, and offboarding. Collaborate with HR to ensure operational processes support both employee experience and business objectives. Recommend systems and processes that improve organizational effectiveness and workforce planning. Drive Operational Excellence Lead cross-functional initiatives that eliminate bottlenecks and improve collaboration. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes using modern tools and technology. Champion continuous improvement by encouraging smarter, more scalable ways of working. Support organizational change initiatives as High Scale continues to expand. Partner with Leadership Serve as a trusted operational partner to department heads and executive leadership. Provide recommendations backed by data, operational insights, and industry best practices. Help leadership make informed decisions that improve efficiency, productivity, and long-term scalability. Who You Are Proven Operations Leader 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, PMO, or a similar operational leadership role. Experience within a BPO, outsourcing, shared services, or another highly process-driven organization is strongly preferred. You've successfully implemented operational improvements that resulted in measurable business impact. Builder of Systems You naturally think in processes rather than one-off solutions. You enjoy creating structure, documentation, and scalable systems that help teams work more effectively. You don't settle for "good enough" when there's a smarter way to do something. Data-Driven Decision Maker You're comfortable building KPI frameworks, analyzing operational metrics, and translating data into actionable recommendations. Experience with reporting tools, project management platforms, workflow automation, and HR systems is a plus. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is highly valued. Influential Business Partner You communicate effectively with stakeholders at every level of the organization. You know how to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and can build alignment across multiple teams. You approach challenges with curiosity, professionalism, and a solutions-first mindset. Thrives in High-Growth Environments You enjoy environments where priorities evolve, new challenges emerge, and there's always an opportunity to improve how things are done. Rather than waiting for direction, you look around corners, anticipate needs, and take ownership of moving initiatives forward. You're energized by building, improving, and helping others succeed. Perks & Benefits Build the Operating System of a High-Growth Company Help shape the processes, systems, and standards that will support the next stage of High Scale's growth. Work Directly with Leadership Collaborate closely with executives and department leaders to solve meaningful business challenges and influence company-wide decisions. Real Ownership & Impact Your ideas won't sit in a backlog. If you identify an opportunity to improve the business, you'll have the autonomy to help make it happen. Accelerated Career Growth As High Scale continues to scale, you'll have opportunities to grow into senior operations and executive leadership roles. A Team That Loves Building Join a company filled with ambitious, collaborative people who enjoy solving difficult problems, learning continuously, and pushing each other to raise the bar. High Scale is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity because we know great ideas come from people with different experiences and perspectives. If you're excited to build, improve, and make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you. Originally posted on Himalayas
